HuskyCT is the University of Connecticut’s version of Blackboard, its learning management system (LMS).
The LMS enables instructors, students, administration and staff, residents, fellowships, and community health professionals to access a wide range of educational electronic resources.
The learning management system at the University of Connecticut is known as HuskyCT, which stands for “Husky Course Tools.”
What is Uconn Huskyct?
The University of Connecticut’s HuskyCT is UCONN’s on-campus computer help service. It provides quick access to Windows, Mac, or network-related issues at no cost for currently enrolled UCONN students, staff, and faculty.
UConn HuskyCT is located in the Undergraduate Library in room 213E. This location will be open 3 hours a day on Monday-Thursday from 11 am – 2 pm & 5 pm – 7 pm on Fridays. Visit www.uconnhuskyct.com for more info!
Huskyct Login Guide
Click on the “Login” button, which is located in the upper-right corner of the screen. Click on your NetID at huskyct.uconn.edu to log in. enter your password when prompted. Click “Login” to access your LMS after entering your UConn NetID and password correctly. On the left menu bar, you may use this as a primary navigation tool, giving you access to additional course information and resources.
Your UConn NetID credentials grant you access to a number of computing services at the University of Connecticut. From the menu bar, go to the Curricular Materials link from the menu bar and select HuskyCT. ReALMs are categorized by module and then session (where applicable). The curriculum for each module is listed first, followed on by resources for that module or session.

The University of Connecticut is a public university in the U.S. state of Connecticut. It was founded in 1881 and is the largest university in the state. The main campus is located in Storrs, Connecticut, about an hour’s drive from both New York City and Boston. The university offers more than 100 undergraduate majors and over 80 graduate programs.
The university is designated as a “Doctoral/Research Extensive” institution by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. The University is classified as a Research I institute in Connecticut that “awards at least 80% research doctorates.”
As the largest single site employer in the state, UConn has been analyzed by many notable critics such as former Governor Rell and Linda McMahon for its financial pervasiveness throughout the state’s economy.
UConn was recognized on The President’s Climate Commitment list of universities in recognition of their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in recent years. This commitment led to the creation of an office of sustainability at Uconn with staff dedicated towards reducing emissions, promoting environmental stewardship.
About Uconn Blackboard
UConn Blackboard is the online learning management system (LMS) for UConn faculty, staff, and off-campus learners. UConn Blackboard helps enhance teaching and learning with tools for selecting texts by academic subject areas; managing courseware; leveling instruction with assignments, quizzes, and content reports; communicating quickly via email to students with e-tutoring about grades assistance; distributing children’s books to parents with our Reading Club Plus program.
It also offers tools for professional development such as the Certified Professional Development Leader (CPDL), virtual conferences, WebEx workshops, webinars – all accessible from anywhere at any time lms.uconn.edu.
The password for the LMS is your NetID. To reset your password, go to netid.uconn.edu. Students may contact HuskyCT technical support at any time of day or night. Customers in Canada can also get assistance by calling 1-855-308-5616. Uconn Blackboard Online support is also available through a chat session.
Uconn Blackboard Login
When you log in to UConn’s Blackboard system, you’ll be asked to enter your NetID and password. Your NetID is the same username and password that you use to log in to other UConn systems, such as HuskyCT and UConn Email.
Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be taken to your course’s home page. This is the main page for your course, where you can find all of the course materials and tools on Uconn Blackboard. You can also access your course from the Blackboard tab on the UConn website.

How to Use a Mobile Device to Access HuskyCT
Via Blackboard (formerly Bb Student) The newest mobile app for UConn HuskyCT Blackboard is the recommended choice for students. At no cost, students can download and install the Blackboard App on their devices. If you have my UConn on your phone, this software has already been installed.

How long will it take for my courses to be accessible in the UConn HuskyCT LMS?
The launch date of your courses may vary. Courses are generally available by the first class meeting date. If a course is marked as “unavailable” after the first class meeting, contact your instructor or the course director. The Home office of the School of Medicine may be contacted by medical students. Medical students may contact the Academic Affairs Office at the School of Dental Medicine.
What if HuskyCT doesn’t contain a course I’m currently taking?
It is possible for a HuskyCT instructor to choose not to offer a course. As a result, all of the courses at UConn Health might or may not be held on the school’s campus.
If you enroll in a course after the semester starts and are not listed on the university’s official schedule, contact your instructor.
Allow up to 24 hours for the LMS to receive the update before contacting your instructor if you were just added to a course. If 24 hours have passed and your instructor has confirmed that the course is available, contact ITS Help Center.
Only your instructor can reset quizzes and exams. If you have used up all of your permitted attempts, you must contact your instructor. Your instructor has the discretion to allow additional tries only if they are needed.
What if I can’t locate an assignment, a test, or other material in my HuskyCT course?
Your instructor manages the availability and arrangement of tests, homework, and other course content. Instructors have the ability to impose restrictions on the release of information (such as start dates and end dates, prerequisites, etc.). Consult your instructor for advice on how to complete the course and/or access particular resources.
What if I submit the wrong assignment and the system won’t allow me to re-submit?
The number of attempts permitted for homework is determined by your professor. You immediately contact your instructor if you’ve submitted the incorrect file for an assignment. The Help Center at Uconn Blackboard isn’t authorized and doesn’t have access to reset assignment attempts. Your instructor, at his or her discretion, may decide to reset your attempt count.
What is ReALMs?
The MDelta flipped classroom and team-based instructional model’s fundamental component is the Active Learning Modules (ReALMs) platform. ReALMs give the knowledge foundation required to take part in class application exercises. ReALMs include video clips, talks, book chapters, journal articles, and other materials.
