  1. Navigate to umgc.edu/login.
  2. Click the ” MyUMGC For Students” button.
  3. Enter your UMGC email address on the login page.
  4. To log in to the University of Maryland global, enter your password.

Register online for classes via myUMGC

The Class Search is the most popular tool used by students to search for and register online for classes in MyUMGC.

  1. Log in to MyUMGC to go to Search.
  2. Select one of the tabs to search for Undergraduate and Graduate classes.
  3. Scroll down and select the Semester dropdown to choose a term, Subject, or Location. These are required in order to start a search. You can click AdvancedSearch to access optional search fields, such as Course Number and Class Form of Myumgc.
  4. You can view your search results at bottom of the page. Click the kebab icon right next to the course name to read its description and add it to your planner for later consideration.
  5. To open the sections, click the course name.
  6. Next to the section, you prefer, click Add Class To Cart.
  7. The Shopping Cart icon is located at the top of the screen.
  8. From the drop-down menu, select the semester that you want to register for.
  9. Check the box to your left to select the classes you wish to register for.
  10. Click on the Register For Classes button. A message will be sent to you indicating the status of your registration for the Maryland global campus.

How to reset your UMGC Password?

You can reset your password by using your personal email account or your mobile phone. For security reasons, passwords should be changed at least every 90 days for the University of Maryland global.

  1. Go to Password.umgc.edu, and enter your UMGC email address in the Users ID section. Note: Your e-mail address is username@student.umgc.edu (For example, hsolo2@student.umgc.edu).
  2. Enter the captcha code, and choose Next.
  3. Choose the radio button to choose your preferred verification method.
  4. If requested, enter your non-UMGC phone number.
  5. When you are done, click the blue emailtext or call button.
  6. A verification code will be sent to your email address if you have selected Email and Text. In the box, enter the code.
  7. Follow the instructions if you choose to receive a call from Maryland global campus.

Follow these instructions to view Maryland global campus, download, print or print your unofficial transcript from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
