This section will help you access the CTC Blackboard portal from a computer. To access the portal you will need your CTC Blackboard login credentials.

  1. Open the Central Texas College Website, www.ctc.edu.
  2. To open the drop-down menu, hover over the tab “Student Tools”.
  3. Choose the second option, Blackboard. The CTC Blackboard login page will open automatically.
  4. If you’re logging in for the first time to the CTC Blackboard portal you will need the CTC Blackboard login credentials that you received when you enrolled.
  5. You will need to enter your username in the first field of CTC Blackboard’s login form. Your username is composed of the lowercase letter c and your student ID number.
  6. You will need to enter your password in the text field of the login menu. The default password for first-time users is their birth month, day, and the last two digits from their year of birth. (The structure is mm/dd/yy). You may be asked to change the password after you have accessed your account for the first time. This is the password that you will use for all future access.
  7. After you have completed all of your login information, click on the “Login” button below the password field.

You can also access the CTC Blackboard platform via your mobile device using either one of these two methods. This is the easiest but least reliable option.

  1. Open your browser app.
  2. In the search bar, enter the URL of Central Texas College at www.ctc.edu.
