CPP Blackboard, Cal Poly Pomona’s learning, and management system are called CPP Blackboard. Blackboard, as we all know, helps students stay connected to their classmates and instructors. It also helps Cal Poly Pomona faculty to collaborate.

CPP Blackboard Login
Log in to Cal Poly Pomona’s blackboard
- Navigate to blackboard.cpp.edu
- Click the “Bronco Login” button.
- Enter your BroncoName on the login page.
- Enter your BroncoPassword.
- Click on the “Log In” link to access your courses.
Your BroncoName and BroncoPassword will allow you to log in to your courses. You can find the help Password page if you don’t know what your BroncoName or BroncoPassword are.
Access CPP Blackboard can be accessed with your smartphone. Blackboard Mobile Learn gives you access on many mobile devices, including Android, Blackberry, and iOS, to courses, content, and organizations.
CPP Blackboard Sign in
Bronco ID numbers are not required for guests. They can be guest lecturers at other universities, consultants from related companies, or students.
You must provide a reason for the guest or affiliate to have an account. Follow these steps:
- Cal Poly Pomona faculty and staff may act as the guest’s sponsors.
- After reading through all requirements carefully, the guest should complete the form and agree to the user agreement.
- After submitting the form, both the guest and the sponsor will receive an email confirmation. This confirms that the guest account has been created.
- Within an hour, the Blackboard system will create the guest account for the sponsor once he has approved authorization.
- An email will be sent to the guest with instructions for CPP Blackboard login at blackboard.cpp.edu.
- The guest will be added manually to the course or organization by the sponsor. This email will be sent to the sponsor.

In addition, the teacher assigned as the “instructor” in any course has special permissions within Blackboard enabling him/her to upload documents such as class schedules, exams, syllabi, and readings. But it’s not just instructors who can upload stuff: students can upload assignments, announcements, and anything else related to the course. You can also see other students’ uploaded documents too so you won’t miss out on what your classmates are doing!
1) What is CPP Blackboard?
With CPP Blackboard, students can access course materials such as lecture notes, homework assignments, discussion board postings, and more. Students also have access to class announcements, important deadlines, and announcements from their instructor. This allows them to always be in the know about what’s going on in their courses.
Students will never miss out! Cal Poly Pomona faculty can also upload documents that pop up on everyone’s Blackboard Home pages. For example slides from lectures, surveys for you to give feedback to your instructor, and much more! And since it is a collaborative tool, not only do instructors post stuff but students post stuff too. Cal Poly Pomona students can upload assignments, class announcements and see if their classmates have any questions about the subject.
2) How do I access CPP Blackboard?
Log in to CPP Blackboard is simple! It’s just like logging into Facebook or Hotmail. All you need to know is your Bronco ID (an email address assigned by Cal Poly Pomona) and password (a password created by you upon enrollment at Cal Poly Pomona). To login, go to blackboard Learn at www.cpp.blackboard.com/webapps/login/. Once you are logged in, your home page will appear on the right side of the screen with various links that take you to important information for each course you are taking.
3) What do I do in CPP Blackboard?
Once you are logged into your courses, the left side of the screen will show a list of resources for each course. Underneath that there’s a list of organizations you may be part of related to each course. On the top right corner is a search tool that allows you to look up everything available on blackboard Learn from courses and organizations that interest you to announcements, discussions, and assignments.
4) Whom should I contact if I have an issue logging in or using Blackboard?
If you have issues accessing CPP Blackboard from a computer, please go to http://library.cpp.edu/login/. If you need assistance with Blackboard from a mobile device, please contact the Instructional Technology Help Desk at (909) 869-3788 or send an email to email@example.com.
5) How do I get my courses into CPP Blackboard?
Faculty members will be able to access their accounts by going through the course management system in Sakai. Once they are logged in to the CPP Blackboard site, they can search for their courses and add them manually to their schedule of classes.

6) What if I am not able to log in? Or what if something that was previously working isn’t working anymore?
First, check your Bronco ID (email address) and password (the one you created when you enrolled at Cal Poly Pomona). If they are correct, contact the Instructional Technology Help Desk at (909) 869-3788 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to see what may have happened.
7) What if I forget my password?
If you forgot your password, simply click on the “Forgot Password” link within Blackboard Learn and follow the instructions provided.
